About Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop allows techniques such as deep etching, retouching and colour correction, to be produced expertly and creatively for image montaging, texture generation, manipulation of text as image, illustration and special effects. Users can create their images in Photoshop or import images from digital cameras and other graphics programs, such as Illustrator for manipulation.
Photographs can be taken into Photoshop for those scratch touch-ups or even to remove objects entirely, colour changes (red car to green car), to change the depth of field or to blur out the background. The possibilities are endless.
Which Photoshop Course Should I Do?
Intro / Basic
Photoshop Lite (1 day):
This course is for people who need to perform basic Photoshop functions such as cropping and resizing images, changing the contrast and brightness and minor photo retouching.
Photoshop Elements (1 day):
Elements is a 'smaller' version of Photoshop which typically is used for personal or educational use.
Intro / In-depth
Photoshop Essentials (2 days):
If you will be using Photoshop regularly, and need to edit images beyond basic photo retouching, then this course is ideal for you.
Techniques include in-depth photo retouching, tonal corrections, deep etching, montaging, working with type, selections and masking and preparing images for print or web.
Advanced
Photoshop Advanced (2 days):
This course is for people who have been using Photoshop for several years, but are not taking advantage of Photoshop's automated features or using the best workflow for editing their images.
Emphasis is on retouching, complex selections, colour correction, and colour accuracy for output.
