HTML & Web Principles (1 day): This course, which explains the underlying code behind a web page, is an essential foundation for anyone who wishes to create web sites with Dreamweaver or another web authoring program or who wants to create HTML marketing newsletters.

Dreamweaver Essentials
(2 days): This course is for people who wish to use Dreamweaver to build small or medium-sized web sites. During the course students will learn how to:

• • add images, tab data & forms
• • style text with CSS
• • modify a CSS page layout
• • add navigation bars.

CSS Essentials (2 days): This course is for people who have attended the Dreamweaver Essentials course or who have been creating web sites for six months or longer. CSS enables web designers to replicate many of the features that print designers take for granted:

• • multi-column layouts
• • styling text
• • apply borders,
• • margins, padding.

The course also covers topics such as:

• • advanced form styling
• • designing printed output
• • creating site navigation bars
• • using background images.

Dreamweaver Dynamic Application Development (2 days): This course follows on from the Dreamweaver Essentials course and is for anyone who wishes (with minimal PHP hand coding) to extend their existing Dreamweaver web site by adding functionality that web users now expect, such as:

• • searching for content
• • registering and logging in.

Students will learn how to use PHP and MySQL to create a database-driven website that can then be maintained without the need for the site administrators to have either HTML or web development skills.
