Online training is a fantastic alternative to classroom-based learning, allowing you to learn with City Desktop Training from ANYWHERE!

All courses are available as online training and these are conducted live via Zoom, where an expert instructor will guide you through the course content, provide demonstrations, offer assistance as you work through the exercises and answer your questions. Unlike on-demand training, not only will you be able to interact with the instructor, you’ll also have the opportunity to interact with your fellow classmates - creating an informative and fun atmosphere that rivals in person training!

Course exercise files and the course book (where applicable) will be supplied prior to your session. If you require setup assistance or help downloading the exercise files, our team is on hand to help. Simply let us know via  or 1300 441 891, and we’ll get you ready for online training.

Online training is conducted live via Zoom - it is not prerecorded training! Online courses are taught live by your expert instructor and there will be other students in the class to interact with.

Each student must have a a computer (PC or Mac) with headphones/speakers, a microphone and (ideally) a webcam. For optimal setup, a second monitor or screen (laptop/iPad) is recommended. A good, reliable internet connection is also paramount.

The computer must have Zoom and Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader (or an alternative PDF application) installed, along with the application relevant to your course. The full list of applications required will be listed in the course setup PDF you will receive prior to your online training, but if you are unsure please contact us via  or 1300 441 891.

Online courses run from 9:00am - 4:30pm, and break times are as follows:

Morning: 10:30am - 10:45am
Lunch: 12:30pm - 1:30pm
Afternoon: 2:45pm - 3:00pm

Half day courses from run 9:00am - 12:30pm and include a short morning break at 10:30am.

Please note, all break times are indicative and may vary. Courses are conducted on Melb / Syd time.

Course exercise files are provided and you will be sent a link to download a week prior to your session. Files will be hosted on Google Drive, OneDrive or WeTransfer.

If the course includes a printed course book, this will be sent via express post a week prior to the training session.

If the course includes a pdf / ebook, this will be included in the course setup pdf, along with links to the course files to download.

Congratulations - you’ve completed your training!

An Adobe Authorised certificate of completion will be emailed to you at the end of the session. You will then be eligible for the free 6 month refresher and 12 months post-course email support, and these can be requested via the links below.
