Is your training aimed at PC or Mac users?

In the classroom we supply Windows PCs with Creative Cloud installed. The techniques you learn apply equally to the Mac versions of the same apps — many of our clients use Mac in their day-to-day work. If you prefer to learn on your own MacBook, bring it with the latest Creative Cloud apps installed and activated and let us know when you book so we can confirm suitability for that course. Live online training works well from either Windows or Mac.

What Adobe software versions are you using?

We teach current Adobe Creative Cloud releases and keep classroom machines on recent builds. If you need to align training to a specific version for a private class, mention it when you book and we will advise what is possible.

Will I be qualified after my course?

Our public short courses are skills-focused rather than formal competency assessment programs. When you complete your class you receive a certificate of completion confirming your attendance. If you need a formal qualification pathway, tell us your requirements and we can point you in the right direction.

Where can I take face-to-face training vs live online?

Face-to-face courses run at our Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra CBD training centres. Most titles are also available as live online sessions with the same instructor-led format. Each course listing shows what delivery options are available on each date.

How do I book a course?

What is the difference between the Lite courses and the Essentials courses?

If you will use the software daily and/or create files from scratch, we usually recommend Essentials — it is still introductory, but more comprehensive and includes time-saving techniques for larger projects. If you mainly edit existing documents and make smaller changes, a Lite course may be enough to get started.

I really don't know how good I am — what course should I do?

If you use the software regularly, you will likely get the most from our Advanced courses. We can also provide a short level assessment to confirm whether Advanced is the right next step.

What time should I turn up?

Courses start at 9:00am. Please arrive by about 8:50am. Our centres typically open from 8:30am — you are welcome to arrive early, grab a coffee and settle in before class.

What time do the classes finish?

We usually run from 9:00am until approximately 4:30pm; exact finish time can vary slightly with class size and pace. Lunch is normally around one hour and we can sometimes adjust break timing with the group.

Do you provide lunch?

No — lunch is not included. We provide complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits, a water cooler and breakout seating for breaks. There are many lunch options nearby in each CBD.

Do I need to bring anything along?

Bring a notebook if you like extra written notes, and a USB drive (4GB or larger) if you want to copy exercise files. Your training PC is set up for you with the required software.

Do I need to bring my own laptop?

No — we provide a Windows PC with current software for classroom courses. If you prefer to use your own MacBook, bring it with the latest Creative Cloud apps installed and activated and tell us when you book so we can confirm compatibility for that title.

What if I attend a course without paying?

Courses should be paid before the scheduled date unless we have agreed otherwise in writing (for example some corporate or government payment processes). Let us know at booking if your organisation needs extra time. Overdue invoices may incur late-payment charges as set out on your invoice or in our terms.

You can pay online, over the phone or by electronic transfer (EFT). Credit and debit card payments may incur a small surcharge in line with Australian payment rules — your checkout or invoice will show the exact amount. For EFT, use the bank details and reference shown on your tax invoice.
